Sterchi ORDINANCE NO. 10658 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING LATTA STREET LOCATED SOUTHEAST FROM ROANOKE STREET, NORTHEAST OF CRUTCHFIELD STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS. SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby closed and abandoned Latta Street located southeast from Roanoke Street, northeast of Crutchfield Street, more particularly described herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference: Latta Street, a 50 foot wide unopened right-of-way beginning on the southeast line of Roanoke Street 349.5 feet northeast of the intersection of the southeast line of Roanoke Street with the northeast line of Crutchfield Street, and extending southeast 450 feet between parallel lines, and parallel to Crutchfield Street, to the southeast line of Curtis Street. Said street separates block 62 from block 65, Anderson's Addition to East Chattanooga, as shown by plat of record in plat book 3, page 12, ROHC. Tax Map No. 136D-B-3,4 and 5. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this closure and abandonment is made subject to the following conditions: 1. The Electric Power Board of Chattanooga has distribution facilities located within the right-of-way which must be maintained for the use and benefit of its customers and requests that the entire right-of-way be reserved as an easement for the operation, maintenance, rebuilding, and replacement of these distribution facilities. 2. All existing easements are retained. 0C SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall be effective two (2) weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
